Samsung Notebook 7 Spin a Fast Charging Hybrid

Samsung has decided to jump on the bandwagon of convertibles where the best of a computer combines power and performance, and best of a tablet with its portability and interaction. As a matter of fact, the result is a computer with more possibilities than a traditional one.

If we look around, we will see other brands and tough contenders in the market. As a matter of fact, Lenovo is already a well-known brand in this battlefield and still firmly committed and bringing the best results in the consumer market. Let’s see what Samsung has proposed in this new line of notebooks/hybrids.

Design:

Looks like Samsung Ativ at first glance, however, its design comes in a body wrapped in colored concept NoteBook with measures 37.4 x 25.6 cm and a thickness of 1.98 cm platinum. It seems that this grayish color that evokes Apple is widespread among the newest laptops.

It is true that its thinness does not count in the range of Ultrabook, yet it is a fairly portable notebook and comfortable, although its weight of 2.26 Kg does not rank among the lightest notebooks on the market. On the contrary, its smallest model will move around 1.75 kg.

Its chassis contains a strong hinge that allows the screen to rotate 360 degrees so that we can work on a normal computer screen and keyboard or on the touch screen in Tablet mode. With its ideal design much has been enhanced for professional use because this doubles the possibility of performing strenuous tasks.

This convertible comes in two possible models with 13.3″ and 15.6″, a somewhat larger standard but those who prefer large screens would really appreciate.

Its keyboard is quite ergonomic, backlit and quite comfortable for typing as it is accompanied by a good-sized touchpad. It is important to mention that there are other striking designs and models like the Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 260 or 360 HP Spectre which far exceed Samsung Notebook 7.

Screen:

The screen of Samsung NoteBook 7 Spin has two possibilities to choose in size, a version of 13.3″ and a 15.6″. Both screens have touch capability and have LED character. The resolution is full HD 1920 x 1080 pixels, an aspect ratio of 16: 9 and a brightness of 220 nits.

It incorporates HDR vision system, i.e., high dynamic range value of getting a much more vivid and better textures that will give you a great experience when viewing videos or playing games in bright colors.

As we have already mentioned, it is a convertible that allows to use the computer as Tablet so a 360-degree hinge will be critical for the transformation. Hence, you can place it in the desired position and have a Tablet in full.

Performance:

In performance, Samsung NoteBook 7 Spin seems to be there with the two convertibles in competition as mentioned at the beginning. Its known processors do not stand out too much on what we already know about these convertible.

On the contrary, we are able to build our laptop with two different models: Core i5-6200U Intel at a speed of 2.3 GHz or more powerful model Intel Core i7-6500U 2.5 GHz speed up to 3.1GHz with Turbo Boost.

RAM:

To accompany the core, Samsung incorporates a wide RAM to meet the more complex processes and can also be found in different versions. For the model 13.3. “We can integrate 8GB of RAM, on the contrary, for the 15.6” model we have the option to 12GB or 16GB DDR4 (2133MHz).

In the graphics processing part, we speak of a GPU NVIDIA GeForce 940MX 2GB DDR dedicated to brings out the maximum performance from your games and your moments of multimedia entertainment. The integrated graphics processor is an Intel HD Graphics 520.

Operating System:

NoteBook 7 Spin does not meet the expectations of someone who is looking for professional work and mounts the Windows 10 version Home standard on models without the pro version of Windows 10.

Storage:

The basic storage of Samsung NoteBook 7 Spin is 1TB capacity that can be expandable to 126GB SSD which is exclusively included in the 16GB version. HDD technology base somewhat is quite late for what we can find these days where SSDs are spreading.

Connectivity:

For connectivity, Samsung NoteBook 7 Spin highlights the presence of: 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, 1 x USB-C (up to 5Gbps, 4K display with optional adapter, Load), HDMI, 1 x USB 3.0 + 2 x USB 2.0, 3- in-1 slot (SD / SDHC / SDXC), Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000).

Battery:

The battery of Samsung NoteBook 7 Spin has a size 60W and 3950 mAh and comes with fast charging system where a load of 20 minutes can give us up to two hours of battery life.

Conclusion:

The Samsung NoteBook 7 Spin is a convertible that has everything you need to have on a convertible. On the contrary, the design is much improved and perhaps something that leads to lose points against many odds. If we dig deep, it is already well known for other companies like Lenovo or HP that surpass it in its proposed processing. However, there is a demand of having more variety in the convertibles so every customer gets
